First trading of Fintel energija a.d. shares on Belgrade Stock Exchange

Fintel Energija shares started trading today on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. Shares will trade under ticker symbol FINT by continuous trading method, with the reference price of RSD 500 per share. The closing price of Fintel Energija shares on first trading day on the Belgrade Stock Exchange was 505 dinars per share, while the daily price range was from 505 to 506 dinars. The price increase for Fintel Energija shares was + 1.00% and 440 shares were traded. On the first trading day, bid was 1,660 shares, while on the ask side there were 3,243 shares of the company.



Mr. Siniša Krneta, CEO of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, said that we heard the opening bell for the first time after more than 80 years, simbolically marking the start of trading in shares of a company which made a brave decision to become a public company.



„We believe that this is only the beginning of seeing more Serbian companies coming to the Exchange, but also integrating Serbian capital market into the function of domestic economic growth and returning importance to the capital market that by definition belongs to it“, Mr. Krneta said.



Fintel Energija's IPO process ended on 30th October, with over 1.5 million of shares subscribed, which was the minimum threshold for a successful process. By this Fintel Energija raised RSD 755.2 million necessary for further development of their business and expansion of the network of wind parks in Serbia. Mr. Tiziano Giovannetti, CEO of Fintel Energija, said that he is very satisfied with the investor interest level and their trust, and that he hopes that trading in Fintel shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange will attract the same amount of attention.



„Fintel Energija is the pioneer in the wind energy industry in Serbia and the first company ever that have financed, built and put into production wind power generation system. Trust of investors obliges us to continue with our investment plans and implement announced projects“, said Giovannetti.



Shares of Fintel Energija are admitted to Prime Listing of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the premium listing segment of the domestic capital market. Fintel Energija from Belgrade is the daughter company of Fintel Energia S.p.A. which has been listed on Borsa Italiana since 2010, member of London Stock Exchange, since 2010.
